- Melt assay: payment will be made based on the fine gold content of your lot
- Scratch testing: metals will be tested based on karat mark
Shipping
We provide shipping options for long-distance clients. When you’re ready to ship, contact us to get a shipping label emailed to you. Your package will be shipped overnight and insured based on the declared value of the contents.
Requirements
Selling your gold, silver, platinum, and palladium to Orlando Gold Refinery is a simple process. If you own a jewelry store, pawn shop, cash-for-gold store or purchase precious metals in bulk, you only need to provide us with a couple of documents to get started.
- State-issued Secondhand Dealers / Secondary Metals Recyclers license, Pawnbrokers license, or Auctioneer license
- Patriot Act compliance form
Licenses
Florida corporations and residents can apply for a Secondhand Dealers license at the Florida Department of Revenue website. If you are not incorporated in Florida, please check with your local authorities to determine licensing requirements in your jurisdiction.
Patriot Act Compliance
All precious metals dealers who transact in quantities exceeding $50,000/year must comply with the USA Patriot Act of 2001. The purpose of this law is to deter and punish terrorist acts in the United States and around the world, including the prevention of money laundering that may be used to fund such acts. Federal regulations require any entity dealing in precious metals, precious stones or jewelry to obtain certain information. The following form will help us collect the necessary information needed to comply with the law.
